Cliff road on Taihang Mountains

XINGTAI, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- "Road hanging on cliff": a 560-meter-long road was built along the cliffs to connect isolated Xiagou Village located deep on Taihang Mountains to the outside in Chaiguan Township of Shahe City, north China's Hebei Province.

The construction of the road was in the 1970s, and was built purely by villagers.
