New Delhi [India], January 30 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated a new Electric Receiving Sub Station (RSS) of the Delhi Metro near the Central Vista Project Area, at Park Street on Friday.
Speaking to reporters, the Delhi CM stated that the newly commissioned sub-station was built using the latest technology and will supply power to various stations across the Delhi Metro network.
'I congratulate the Delhi Metro for the Electric Receiving Sub Station established here. It is built using the latest technology and techniques. It was completed within 18 months. Our metro is moving towards no electricity failures,' said CM Gupta.
Delhi Chief Minister chaired a high-level review meeting on the MCD at the Delhi Secretariat.
During the session, she reviewed solid waste management and the implementation of 100% waste segregation, including Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plants and construction and demolition (C&D) waste.
The discussions also covered road redevelopment, dust control, flyover projects, parking issues, and the revitalisation of old markets. During the meeting, Rs 500 crore was allocated to enhance Delhi's sanitation system.
Earlier, the Delhi Chief Minister said that the MoU signed between the Delhi government and the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) will enable startup owners to obtain collateral-free loans up to Rs 10 lakh.
The Chief Minister emphasised the significance of the MoU, stating that more than one lakh people will benefit from the facility, and underlined that the centre will provide 75%-90% of the guarantee coverage under the scheme. The remaining guarantee coverage will be provided by the state government. (ANI)
