(260506) -- DUBAI, May 6, 2026 (Xinhua) -- This photo taken with a mobile phone on May 6, 2026 shows thick smoke rising from a building that caught fire in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A fire broke out at a building under construction in Dubai on Wednesday morning, UAE media reported.

Footage circulating on social media showed thick clouds of smoke rising from the site.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known. (Xinhua)
